Sunday Services

We are blessed to be home to two congregations in one shared location, each offering a distinct worship experience while united in faith and community.
Lutheran Church of the Savior gathers for Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m., welcoming all who desire meaningful worship, biblical teaching, and warm fellowship. Later in the day, Revival Temple of Christ holds its own dynamic worship service at 1:00 p.m., serving the community with passion and purpose.

Whether you’re visiting for the first time or searching for a church home, there is a place for you here.

About Us

Christ Welcome Statement

We at Lutheran Church of the Savior welcome and affirm all persons.
We are a community committed to the work of racial equity, bringing
justice for God’s beloveds.
We welcome all because Jesus welcomes all: individuals and families of
any reach or culture, sexual orientations, gender identity, gender
expression, or relationship status.
We welcome all without regard to age, church experience, physical or
mental socio-economic circumstances, or anything that too often divides us. Our unity is with Christ.

Pastor Dr. JoAnn Mundy

Pastor JoAnn leads our service on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in August,

Pastor Alex Steward

Pastor Alex leads our Worship Services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays in August.

Visiting

Lutheran Church of the Savior’s congregation is small but mighty because we truly are a family – knowing and caring for each other, as well as reaching out to others.  Our strong mission program helps at least one organization per month, often including activities for our members.

WORSHIP GUIDE

Worshiping With Kids?

Kids are welcome here! So, please don’t worry if they wiggle or make noise.  They’re kids…..it’s okay!

Need a distraction?

We have children’s activity bags on the credenza near the entrance.  Please, help yourself or ask anyone near you for one.

New Roof Complete

Our new roof was completed by BetterWay Roofing from Shipshawana, Indiana.  After several estimates and many site visits, we are happy to announce the metal roof is done and looks amazing.  The next step is to focus on the interior.  Including new insulation and full drywall.

Joint Service

We celebrated many things: World Refugee Day, an international day organized every year on June 20 by the United Nations. The significance is to increase awareness for refugees, their resilience, courage and strength. They have to flee persecution and conflict in their country in hopes to fi nd a sanctuary and live a better life.

Ten Years for Vihamba Family in the US– This family of five are now citizens of the US and we, at LCS, walked with them on their journey.
Pastor Vihamba’s sermon – There is UNITY in Christ and it is GOOD that we are together. Filled with gratitude for this opportunity to share our Sanctuary with people of faith.

Following the service of dance and praise singing, we were exposed to a variety of foods: Tilapia, pork ribs, rice, waffles, plantains, and bread, along with our western food of sloppy joes, pasta
salads, chips and dip and a plethora of desserts.

Join us as we continue to welcome and support our global neighbors.
A special thank you to Pastor JoAnn Mundy for leading this forward.

Outdoor Service July

Mother Nature allowed us to be outdoors with a gentle breeze for this Worship Service.  Many thanks to Ben and Emily, who lead the lively music!
